Dr. Ava Khodakhast, DDS
I’m Dr. Ava Khodakhast, but you can call me Dr. Ava or Dr. Khoda. My journey in dentistry began with a strong belief that it’s not just a science but an art form. For over two decades, I’ve dedicated myself to improving the lives of my patients, and I find that experience truly priceless.
I graduated as a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2000, obtaining my DDS from the University of Missouri Kansas City. My passion for learning led me to continue my education for three additional years at the Medical College of Georgia, where I earned a master’s in Oral Biology and completed my Residency in Prosthodontics. This specialty focuses on cosmetic work, implant procedures, and complex mouth rehabilitation, areas I genuinely enjoy.
Full arch dental implants provide patients with brand new teeth by utilizing a permanent, titanium-reinforced bridge that can be secured with four to six dental implants. This allows us the flexibility to strategically place the implants in the areas in which the bone is most dense, reducing our need for bone grafting and other supporting treatments.
